Just for the fun

Who knows who played 'Kato'in the greenhornet? Now we will see how old you guys are. I loved that show as a kid. Another one. Who was the karate man in the movie 'Marlow'? Marlow was a detective movie. The karate man took his office apart.I think James Gardner played Marlow. Another one. What was the name of the James Bond movie where there were many martial arts in it? It is best remembered when one of them broke a block of ice with his head. Another one. What was the name of the Indian that was an ex green barret who returned home to his village and took on the whole town on by himself? He was a martial arts expert. The scene that realy got people was the scene where he took off his shoes and socks and went to fight. He said to the head thug "I am going to kick your left side of your head with my right foot and there is nothing you can do about it." Enough,I am starting to feel old.

תשובות (אולי?)

Give the man a stuffed doll

You got all four right!!(how old are you anyway?) Now who was the secret agent that was popular in the late 60's early 70's that gave every one karate chops and some side kicks to the stomach. It wasn't James Bond, so what movie was it? Who played the leading part ? Who was the star that played in a 'drag net' police series that knew judo and was found out to be the killer at the end of the show.He was attacked by an associate and while defending himelf threw his associate and then gave him again a karate chop to his throat. It was one of the shows on the series. The actor letter on became a famous tv actor who had his own show. By the way thanks for participating ,it is good knowing that I wasnt the only one wasting his time while growing up.IT is history you know.

He meant Kato

Give him the benefit of the doubt, that he meant Kato and not the green hornet.Maybe he got confused cause they both wore the same masks.

My man FLINT

that was the Secret Agent who was a spin off of James Bond. Who remembers who played the staring role? It was-----.HE became a great actor and played in many thrillers etc. How about the other trivia? Who was the man who was the Judo expert in the Drag net show? It was the same actor who stared in the detective show ,the guy with the trench coat and a cigar in his mouth..Any ideas?

Flint was James Coburn

I sure do

he was my first grade teacher,I think. The detective is Colombo, played by Peter Fork who was the judo expert in the dragnet show back in the 60's.

Now this is a real good one

Who was the cowboy that was a great fighter. In this show he would ride on his own private train with his kickside. Both would fight the evil of the world. Some even midgets. His best technique was using a hammer fist on his opponents. In real life he was a night club bouncer and boxer before hitting stardum in this cowboy show. Excellent show it was. What is the name of the show ,what were the names of the two fighting cowboys and what is their real names, well at least of the star in the show.THeir best friend and boss was non only then President U.S.Grant.

The show was called

'Wild Wild West'.Two U.S. Marshals undercover as rich westerners. Their arch enemy and the villan of the series was a midget. The side kick was Artamis Gordon(his real name I dont recollect.) The star was called James West and he was a tough cookie. Not only on the series. He was a bouncer and made his living knocking people around before getting to the Hollywood TV show,(I dont remember his real name either.)Thanks for the opportunity to go back 30-35 years. These shows influenced my very early years in Martial Arts at a time when Martial arts was still not a house hold word. They were also the begining of the Martial Arts trend in Holywood. The main expression of this was.'James Bond'(original),'My man flint','Bruce Lee',"The Kung Fu series'and 'Billy Jack' Have a good one. Shimon.

OK, here is one for you...

in a certain series, every time the good guys hit the bad guys there would be a slide on screen saying something like "Ka-Pow!!!", or "Bang", or something like that - which one was it? There was a hero and his sidekick, and they did not seem to take the show too seriously... Any guesses?
