Its nice to be somewhere....
…where Aero is appreciated... I found a really cool radio station called "Springfield's Classic Rock 102.1". Its a REALLY good station - great rock'n'roll all the time! Today, we got in the car, and I turned it on. They just finished a song and then the DJ starts speaking with great enthusiasm about this “new record”: “amazing rock… (something something) Aerosmith… (something something) Joe Perry… (etc etc). Then he put on Shakin’ My Cage!!! After the song he talked even more about how much he loved the album. When it ended he said something like “WOW!!!! Now THAT’S ROCK AND ROLLL!!! Joe Perry…. AMAZING!!!” and so on. When we got back to the car after a few hours I opened the radio, and they were right in the middle of… you’ll never gues… REMEMBER (WALKING IN THE SAND)!!!!! How cool is that?!?!?! Anyway, got some more 2nd hand music here: The Firm – a band that made lasten one year only in the mid-80’s with Jimmy Page and Paul Rogers (Free, Bad Conpany). It’s a really good, interesting record – and I think that the real star on that record is no one else than the Bass Player – some guy called Tony Franklin, who playes fretless bass and it sounds amazing. I also got a collection of “The Georgia Satelittes” and one of the only Cheap Trick albums I don’t have already. Rock on!
