In Memory of the Crew
We Were so excited about all these things in Israel, you know-- Having the first Israeli in Space really kind'a put a side some of the troubles this country is going through. A big sense of pride has swept the streets and we all knew he is one of us that is going together with 6 more fine people to explore what used to be only 40 years ago, pertty much unknown. In my Baseball forum in Israel someone compared this trip of Ilan Ramon to space to the great Sandy Koufax on the mound. The terms of comperasin were on the way they represented the Jewish People in a nice positive way. The World Media is so down on Israel all the time, Calling us Murderres and forggeting who the real trouble makers are.. There for this was a real brake for us and oppurtunity to unite together and watch in pridehow our man goes up with his and our American Friends. These evenets prior to the schedueld landing are just so Tragic that it is hard to express the feelings in plain words. I'm Sure we all would be honored knowing these people who went to space for a mission in the name of Humanity and all the good we stand for. In these hard days where we gotta deal with global terror around us who keep their minds together only thinking of ways to kill and destroy, out of all this Evil came good and it's just too bad it had to end this way. The Israeli people feel really close to Ilan Ramon and his Partners for the trip and they shall all be rememberd as good people who didnt deserve to die!!! Things do happen and there are sometimes occasions where you cant do much about it... I'm Sure we just wanna say to them if we did have a chance to see them: " Good job and god bless you all" -- Cus it was the name of Gods greatest creation they were carrying out with them.
