"What would you say to people who don’t think you and Joel will last? I don’t read that stuff, but if someone said it to me I would be like ‘Whatever. You don’t know anything about me and my life’. How do you cope with Joel’s piercings? Joel doesn’t have any actually! "He's great! We've been together for over a year. He's a good friend. He remembers special dates, like the day we first met. He does it for me and my friends. He's very funny." You seem quite different - do you have much in common? " We have more in common then people think. We agree morally on stuff, like loyalty and family. He's taught me so much about music, and I've softened him up!" Joel's older than you and he's got quite a scary image. What did your parents think of him? "Well, they definitely thought about it, put it that way! But then when my mom met him, she loved him. You can't be in a room with him for ten minutes and not love him! He's the funniest, nicest, most genuine guy. I think my dad had a problem with him at first, but he'd never say. But now he really likes him - he was just being protective, like all dads!"
