That's very true
Unfortunatly, I know this from personal experience. (the pediatrician I used to go to told me my daughter wasn't sleeping through the night because I didn't have enough milk and that I should give her "TAMAL". Luckily my gut told me to ignore him). But I think Doctors tend to be too condescending to take information from their patients. Another thought- I think may Moms know how great it is to breastfeed, but they don't konow how bad it is to give your baby "TAMAL", and that's why they decide to stop breastfeeding. If for example, they knew that the non-dairy formula contains 50% sugar that might have a stronger impact on them than learning about the wonders of breastfeeding. I wanna tell you again how important I think your work is. Especially since you work in a public hospital and can help those moms who can't afford an IBCLC
