JOLIE'S OSCAR WIN REMINDED HER OF PARENTS' SEPARATION ANGELINA JOLIE found her 2000 OSCAR win to be a bittersweet experience, because it reminded her of the collapse of her parents' marriage. Jolie admits that when she picked up the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in GIRL, INTERRUPTED, she was immediately reminded of her dad JON VOIGHT's 1979 Oscar win for COMING HOME - and it also marked the year he left her mother MARCHELINE BERTRAND. The brunette beauty, who attended the ceremony in 2000 with her brother JAMES HAVEN, says, "I had a weird thing in my family. My father was separating from my mother when he won his Oscar. She loved acting, she wanted to be an actress and they had separated and he took his girlfriend. "I remember just growing up and thinking, 'God, what a tough night that would've been for her in her sweatpants with her two babies.' "So I was very conscious of the fact that her two children were sitting next to each other and they were at a ceremony 20-something years later. We had just talked to her and we're her babies that she was holding at that moment. "We called her after and... and she was crying. It was her night and there was something very full circle about it in our family."
