ריאיון בפינית עם וילה, על הופעות, סושי ועוד: חלק 1 חלק 2 והנה התרגום לאנגלית (קרדיט לפורום הרישמי): It´s been really great in America and we´ ve been touring a lot of places that we´ve never been before, like Japan, Canada, New Zealand. In these places we´re not big, but that actually feels good, because after all, we toured 10 years in Europe out of which perhaps 2 years mainly in Finland. It does good for your brain to see new places, meet new people. It gives you new ideas for song-writing and it´s nice to meet musicians from all over the world. Many Finnish bands go straight to Japan and from there to some other countries. But you guys are first now trying to break into the Japanese market... Well.. Maybe because sushi is such a fantastic food an Kabuki [a popular Japanese restaurant in Helsinki] is always so full that people don´t fit in there, because it´s reserved to us... We´re not any big in Japan, we´re only just starting there. Their culture is so different and that really feels refreshing to us. We did two club gigs and if I remember correct, one of them wasn´t even sold out. Those were in Osaka and Tokyo. Yup, it´s a really great country. I ate [whatsitcalled? The “fugu” fish] ] there... Were you scared to eat fugu? No, not at all. If you think about it, a billion to zillion businessmen eat it every year and maybe one of them dies. The risk is about as big as to be infected with salmonella and die drom that. That, btw, happens even in Finnish pizzerias... - - - - - - ... For the first time, we were given the chance to do a couple of those. We did a show called Carson Daly and the second was Jimmy Kimmel. Those two are somewhat smaller than Conan O´Brien´s show. It was lovely, we got some media exposure and got our songs played on the radio. A good start. When you look at shows like Conan´s, it seems like band can feel uncomfortable performing in them. Is it true and how do you feel doing those shows? You just have to believe in yourself and have a couple of beers before and you´ll be fine. There´s nothing special in doing those shows, but of course it´s a whole new exprience. I remember the first times we´ve been to TV shows, we´ve been damn nervous – especially when you´re doing a playback. Luckily bands in at least American and British shows don´t have to do playbacks these days, and you have a better feeling about the whole thing. At least in the couple of shows that we did in California they had invited fans to the studio, so there were a lot of people that we had seen on our gigs. So you know, there weren´t exactly just grandma´s and granpapa´s sitting there in their chairs. It´s more like young people with their tight tops, boobs nearly bare etc. So you know, all that makes it easier. Are you going to visit Conan O´Brien´s show? We were planning to do that, but it didn´t work out because we were in NY when he was in Chicago. But we hope to be able to make it some time.
