Happy New Year -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello all, this is Ryan checking in to wish everyone a happy 2005; another year of infinite possibilities. I just walked home from the movies where I only got through the first hour of the Aviator before they evacuated the theatre due to a smell of smoke. A lot of weird things have been happening like that lately. We were in Vegas for New Year's, and the hotel we were in blacked out for like an hour right after midnight. It was our second black out on tour. Weird. Well, anyway, my life has been pretty intense lately. I've been practicing a lot and continuing my re-strengthening process, trying to get back on stage. I've got a lot of work still ahead of me, but I'm finally seeing progress happen quicker and quicker. I'm confident that the next tour will be a return to form (and hopefully even better than ever). It's just a matter of time at this point, since I've waited out the healing process and I've entered the conditioning and re-learning process. I must say that it's very strange re-learning to do something you did already for so long. I feel like I'm re-learning to walk or something like that. You sort of remember what it felt like to do it, because you did it so many times, but it feels awkward and difficult at first. It's coming back, though. I hope everyone out there had a Happy New Year and continue to. Send your love and prayers to the people and families affected by the natural disaster in Asia. I am doing right now. Much love, Ryan
