Simon Dawes are a Great Band -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello everyone... how are you today? We had some really fun shows over the weekend on the east coast... if you were there... thanks for coming. I have two things to say today... toady. I almost misspelled today as toady and left it... It's a new word... anyway... that's not one of the things I have to say... the first is a quote from the book I'm reading right now "Jitterbug Perfume" by Tom Robbins... great funny interesting book... and here's the quote... from page 222 I might add... our band lucky number. "Our individuality is all, ALL, that we have. There are those who barter it for security, those who repress it for what they believe is the betterment of the whole society, but blessed in the twinkle of the morning star is the one who nurtures it and rides it, in grace and love and wit, from peculiar station to peculiar station along life's bittersweet route." Dig it. And the second... more pressing thing is that Simon Dawes are on tour right now... They opened up for us on the last leg of our most recent tour... and they're amazing... the best new band I know of... So here are a list of their remaining show dates... if you're in these cities...
