new to Israel but very much into american football(NFL). just found out that there is an Israeli football league and would like any information I can get on it. when does the season start, where do they play? who all can participate? any information would be very much appreciated. also, are there any places around Haifa that ppl gather to watch NFL games? in the states, there are sports bars where football fans get together to drink beer, and have fun. any information would be much appreciated. .

There's the official league web page at www.ifl.co.il, you can find more details there. Ther is a team in Haifa (as you saw in the response above mine) and there are 7 other teams in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Be'er sheva, Herzlia and more. The season starts on October and each team has a home-field they host the games at. Let us know how old you are, have you played before? Which positions? I hope you find a "home" with one of the league's teams. Good luck​
