I have some questions about fishing

Hi all im from the u.s but coming soon to Israel i want to dive but i dont want to go too far. can you go down to 7 meters only and find some fish? how far to you have to go from the beach to find fish thanks for your help

Most places are under 7 meters

depending where you're staying most diving locations are under 7 meters. Where are you going to stay? I will give you locations accoridngly. Do they allow you to bring spearGun via airplane?

In my opinon, to reach 7 meters deep u should swim about 150-250 meters from shore but it's depends if u got to tel aviv to hilton's beach AKA "metsitism" u have to swim around 200 meters for 6-7 meters deep in the Mediterranean Sea the ratio is almost 100-200 meters from shore equals to 10 meters deep but it's varying as u see... the principle is that u have to swim alot to get some depth on the other hand if u go to eilat to the red sea u can easily reach 10 meters deep only 50 meters away from shoreor less... and 30-40 deep in about 150 meters from shore... hope i helped u there mate..

thanks so much guys. I can read hebrew i just cant type it, so will free to write hebrew im going to stay in Tel aviv area. i wont be at the red sea and i dont know about the speargun, but im gussing that since 9\11 there is no chance how do you guys get 200 meters from the beach by swim? and you still get the strenth to dive?

מטר. מה יש לכם בשהייתי בכיתה ו הייתי בנבחרת שחיה. ולחימום הינו עושים 40 בריכות של 25 מטר . ושלא נדבר על האימון. אז אל תהיו נקבות. יש צלילות שאני שוחה 12 קילומטר ב 6 שעות והכול תוך כדי דייג . ולאמריקאי נראה לי שאתה לא מבין את היחס בין מטר ל פייט או מה שלא יהיה אז שמשהו יתן לו טבלת המרה. השחיה לעומק המדובר אורכת בין 5 ל 10 דקות תלוי במצב הים (בהנחה שהוא שקט) בים עובד יכול לקחת שעות אם בכלל

קיאק אני מניח שתשכיר יעלה לך קצת הרבה כסף וגם אתה צריךך להתאים אותו לצרכים שלך.. אני לא יודע כמה זה חכם.. מצד שני.. עם בוגי זה מקל... ואל תשכח שאתה עם סנפירים.. וגם הוא ישמש אותך כמצוף - שולחן עבודה - ותיק אני אצרף לך תמונה של הבוגי שלי.. כי סתם אני אוהב להראות אותו שוב.. ואולי גם תקבל מושג.. (ההתקן שעשיתי לסנפירים זה רק בגלל טראומה אבד לחבר שלי סנפיר חדש בזמן נעילה - אתה לא חייב לארגן להם קשירה... )
