:my ten facts
1. I've got an almond tree in bloom outside my window. 2. my shoe size is 43. Or 42, depending on the shoe. Or maybe my feet contract when I step into the brown pair? I don't know. so tha's not a fact, really. Okay, I'll have to do another No.2: 2. I'm 1.72 meters tall. Without shoes. Either pair. 3. I was in the army for quite a while. It was four years, but seemed longer. 4. Except for when I was sleeping, which seemed even shorter than it was. 5. Which was very short. At some points during that time I would have done ANYTHING just so they would let me grab some sleep. And I think I did. 6. I've got a degree or two in biology. Well, I think I do, I haven't seen them lately. 7. I prefer wearing really boring clothes, in the dullest shades imaginable. Green is, like, going crazy-wild for me. the most exciting colour I wear is a streak of yellow on my running shoes, which I haven't worn in ages. 8. I would like to point out at this point out that although shoes have cropped up in three of my facts up to now (four, counting this one) I don't really consider them an important part of my life. I actually went around barefoot when I was 16-17, except they wouldn't let me in school or on buses like that (I still don't know why) so I carried a pair of ragged sandals around in my hands, which probably looked really dumb, but looking dumb is an integral part of being 16, isn't it? 9. I also didn't get a haircut for about three years back then, but didn't end up with cool rock-star or Hippie-style hair, just a LOT of hair on a short, skinny guy. Walking around barefoot with a pair of sandals in one hand. 10. I'm married. My wife is the girl of my dreams and I love her very much. She met me after I cut my hair and started to wear shoes again, which is very fortunate for me, I think. 11. I saw "This is Spinal Tap". (those of you who did not see it: go see it and then you'll get the joke)
