Hey

Can somebody tell me what's the difference between this forum and the one with the name "English - Studying"? Thanks

Difference

A few things are different: 1. We speak only in English (and try to enforce this) 2. It's less about studing, and more about living the language, reading, speaking and breathing it. It doesn't mean that we don't help, but this is for people who love the language beyond regular school classes.

Thanks for the explanation,

Sounds interesting. I'm new to this forum, by the way

we all are

because (surprise, surprise) it's a new forum. Would you like to introduce yourself? By the way, do you have a quote for my QuoteFest (check below)? Welcome.

Oh, nice

Well, I'll introduce myself - My name is Natalia, I'm 18 years old and I live in Haifa. I love science (Yep, I'm a geek) and am beginning my studies in the physics faculty in the Technion, next semester. I also like to read (popular science books and SF&F - Terry pratchett mostly [As can be understood from my signature
], like anime and have an interest in languages. My English isn't very good, but I hope to ameliorate it
Oh, and I'll think about a quote!

Don't rush to make such strong statements about yourself... Your English is, in fact, very good.
