אני לא יודעת למה אנשים חושבים שרגולוס בלק זה כ"כ פשוט, זה מאוד אפשרי שזה הוא, אני אישית לא חשבתי על רגולוס. חשבתי למה ש"ר.א.ב" חותם על שמו, אפילו בחשאיות שרק וולדמורט יבין- אפשר להבין שהוא רצה שוולדמורט ידע שזה הוא. לגבי זה שר.א.ב זה משפט. משפט שמשלב בו את המילה 'בלאק' אתה בטח מתכוון לשם משפחה בלאק, כי הוא לא יכול לשלב את המילה שחור; אז מה יכול להיות המשפט? נשמע לי רעיון בהחלט מעניין אם זה משפט שהכותב מעביר הלאה, או משהו שרק 'אדון האופל' יבין. נ.ב בספר, הארי לא כ"כ התעניין מי זה ר.א.ב, הוא כבר לא הקדיש לזה מחשבה, לא יכל. מה פתאום אנחנו חורשים על התאוריה הזאת? אני חושבת שיש מצב שרולינג תפתיע אותנו עם דמות חדשה. אבל עם רולינג יש מצב להכל. אולי זה שהארי לא מקדיש לר.א.ב מחשבה מראה שר.א.ב יהיה משהו בעל משמעות בספר הבא? או שההפך?

At first, I thought maybe the initials doesn't stand for a name, but for a nickname, like Half-Blood Prince. The fact that the note is to The Dark Lord has really caused me a bloody pain in the head. The only fellows who call Voldemort that way is Seers, Death Eaters and other strange blokes like Olivander. A rather odd idea has come to my mind: what if it is a name of a Goblin, like Ruddy-aimed Barnock or something... too weird. But the fact that the initials stays in their normal form in Hebrew says something to us more than a Dutch translation, because our sentences are quite different, don't they?

But what about the use of the pronoun I in the note? Don't you think that kinda contradicts your theory? rr.. I hate English.. been using it too much lately. nothing personal though.

There is no denying

the fact that a person wrote the letter to Voldemort hence the use of the pronoun 'I' but what I mean is that maybe he didn't sign his name at the end of the letter (the letter didn't end with the words "yours truly" or anything...he simply signs it RAB thus, it could mean anything...including the idea at hand). Thanks for replying P.S you don't have to write in English I can read Hebrew

But I live in California now, and I need to work on my English, and this is a good practice for me. Anyway, i guess it could be true, but it still dosn't really make any sense. why would anyone sign with his "secret organization" name or whatever?

I had a few options for what the meaning of these intials may be, but none of them could lead me to a place where a rational answer lies

I figured it may be part of a sentence or something like that.. but it was rather difficult to come up with something more specific, or logical, so I've decided to let go of RAB and wait for JKR to tell us who the hell is he [or she!]. But.. share more stuff with us! Don't keep it to yourself! Be nice
