יש לי בוחן אחרי סוכות באנגלית על אוצר מילים. ישנן מספר מילים שלא מצאתי פירוש להן במילון, ואודה לכם אם תוכלו לתת לי פירוש למילים וגם משפט לדוגמא אם אפשר. תודה. Deface (רק משפט לדוגמא) cognitive dissonane to actualize to cow coward (רק משפט לדוגמא) mantra daunted envision תודה לכל מי שיעזור.

כי במילון כתוב ש-daunt זה להרתיע/להפחיד. אז מה זה daunted?

שכתוב במילון אז Daunted זה מורתע\מופחד. אני לא בטוח שמה שכתבתי קודם היה נכון...לא בדקתי במילון.

cognitive - קוגניטיבי dissonance - הכרתי but combined this is a type of behaviour in psychology... דיסוננס קוגנטיבי - when you make yourself truely belive in something that is not correct.​

The post you are replying to defines dissonance (correctly) as חוסר עקביות. So it makes sense that "cognitive dissonance" would mean inconsistent thinking.​
