Help from Steve

Hello Steve, I`m looking for an undergraduate school that will give me a good base for vet school. I`m looking in the Phila. area. What do you know about West Chester University of Pennsylvania, for example? Happy to get any other ideas from you. Thanks a lot Yael

Pennsylvania

Hi Yael, West Chester University is listed as Very Competitive in the Barron's guide to US colleges., but I frankly know very little about this school. Since Vetrinary school is hard to get in to, I would suggest you try for a higher ranked school such as UIniversity of Pennsylvania or Pennsylvania State as alternate options. How were your SAT scores? If you scored over an 1150 you have a possibility to apply for a Scholarship at West Chester University. There are other extremely good schools in Pennsylvania, you have elite schools like Haverford, Bryn Mawr and places like Temple University which are more relaxed. Choosing a college is very important, I would need to know more information about your background to be more specific.
