hello everyone

I'm Noa, and I am 27 years old, 5 weeks in the GTA. :) I am still finding my way around here. I haven't found a place to live yet. I am looking for something affordable for a destitute gal like me, in toronto (and not Thornhill). :) Anyone got any idea as to where I can look?

Affordable apartment

Check out the 2 apartments/rooms posted on pages 2 and 3 of this forum. The Yonge & Eglinton area is especially convenient if you are single or work downtown. Anything along the Yonge subway line would be a good choice. A regular apartment in one of the apartment buildings in the Yonge & Eglinton area would be much more expensive.

well

I actually want to live alone, probably in a bachelor, or more realistically a basement. But it depends. If I find a place that could be private, even though there is a roomate, AND affordable, then maybe.

Noa - apartment

The 2 messages that I had mentioned are now on pages 3 & 4 of this forum. Call Christina at 416-932-9152. It sounds exactly like the type of apartment that you are looking for and goes for $538. She is looking for a female tenant. The apartment is located at Eglinton & Mt. Pleasant, east of Mt. Pleasant, within walking distance of the Yonge & Eglinton Centre, but you can take the Eglinton East bus to Mt. Pleasant from the Eglinton subway station. A bachelor apartment at Yonge & Davisville would go for around $900. Davisville is just down the road from Eglinton – the next subway stop. The other apartment posted is more expensive by about a $100 from the one above. Check them both out. estee
