GPS blackout
I don`t know about our beloved Israel, but in Italy, there are several areas where any GPS fails to function, in short, a total black-out, mainly around sensitive military airports. They are probably equipped with high-power transmitors which send signals on the same frequency of the GPS sattelitesa, and just paralize your GPS These areas are limited, and once you`re out the GPS re-starts working, but in side those areas, and unless you are navigating on the old IFR- I Follow Railroad,- VOR, ADF come handy.
