Fujian Crane fist - & karate goju
Today I bought an old and interesting book on Fujian (fukien) crane fist.One of the forms inside looked like a form from southern praing mantis I saw long ago.After a short search on the net I´ve found out that FUJIAN WHITE CRANE is considered to be the father of Karate goju-ryu .now that I think about it - that certain form does look like Sanchin -kata . In a way - some of the techniques looks like wing chun too. I guess thats because all these styles are from a southern origin ,therefore they have a lot of similarities
