For those who doina phd in the EU and UK

In the country you are studying at, can you be an international student and only study part time? How many hours can you work on/off campus? If you can be part-time, are you allowed to work? Do you teach at the school as part of your degree training? Sorry for all the generic questions, I am looking at quite a few schools an a few countries around Europe.. and lso I'm curious about what pormat people choose. In the US there isn't really much choice. Thanks

I don't know anyone who's doing a PhD part time. I think that the condition for funding is that you finish in 3 years. After that the funding stops. You're allowed to work up to 20 hours a week on and off campus. I think that the work permit is the same with part time studies as you are using the same visa. (but again, I don't know if you can be enrolled to a part time PhD program). Last week I did some RA work for extra cash and this year I was the tutor in a course. This is something you choose to do and certainly not something that is part of the program.​
