חבל שאתה לוקח דעות באופן אישי
מישהו משווה את מזג האויר בוונקובר לזה שבטורונטו ואתה לוקח את זה כהתקפה אישית על טורונטו. יש מקומות ולכולם יש יתרונות וחסרונות. אני אוהב את ונקובר, אבל אני בהחלט יכול להבין למה אנשים לא אוהבים את ונקובר. אני יכול לכתוב פה דף שלם מה לא טוב בטורונטו אבל אנשים רבים חושבים אחרת, וטורונטו היא ביתם. תודה רבה על ההפחדה בנושא רעידות אדמה. שכחת לציין הרי געש (קסקיידס) וגלי צונמי מהאוקינוס השקט.

ואתה יודע מה עוד?? דווקא הקנדיים יודעים לכבד את בחירתו של האחר במשהו שונה מבחירתם שלהם.

No, it is not "personal" at all
But since some people here keep referring to Vancouver as some "heaven on earth", which only the selected wise have managed to reserve the privilege to reside there, I thought it was appropriate to point out the minute factors which may make other location in Canada reasonably acceptable for the working class among posters on this forum…(grin) Take it easy my friend, Vancouver is not the worst of all places… think of Kapuskasing, or Taktayaktak.. BBBBRRRRRR and boring, all at the same time

"Livable"? don´t kid yourself
Toronto is the best one for me. I love theater, live music shows, restaurants of world foods, yachts, art and so forth No other sity in Canada, and maybe even in the US offers as much opportunity as Toronto I do not know what this "livability " measures, but I have been around, and thanks, but no thanks, give me Toronto, or give me none at all

You can search for another one that shows different rankings if you can find one. Keep in mind that asking your wife and kids what is their prefered city is not considered a statistically reliable survey. I found another survey, this time ranking the World´s Best Cities. I am sorry to tell you that Toronto did not even make the first 10.

does NOT get much worse then that, and usually, it is much easier then this one.It is one of the colder years here, but it is still reasonable for humans who live in a city like Toronto. And not much snow so far, thank god.. Remember the late "captain Saunders"? he used to say "there is no such thing as bad weather, just different types of good weather", make note of that Behatzlacha!
