Hi all, I am at Ben Gurion Airport about to fly to USA. Not all games are over yet, but the rest left will wait till next time I can write. WHAT AN UPSET!!! Oregon state beat #3 USC 33 - 31 Of all teams, Oregon state was not the one expected to do this! USC looked bad lately, but the Beavers seemed (on paper) just not strong enough. Now the #3 spot in the polls leading perhaps to a chance at the national title, taking into account that #1 and #2 will meet each other November 18th, is up for grabs. Michigan and Ohio state remained on course, as OSU shut out Minnesota 44 - 0 and the Michigan defense came to work and led the wolverines to a defensive 17 - 3 win over Northwestern. #7 Auburn just barely beat Ole Miss. 23 - 17. #9 Florida won 21 - 14 over Georgia. #10 Clemson was upset on Thursday by the Hokies of VA Tech 24 - 7. #11 Notre dame beat the Navy 38 - 14. #17 Wisconsin had some trouble and came from behind to beat Illinois 30 - 24. #18 Boston College had no problems in a 41 - 0 blow out of Buffalo. #19 Oklahoma without Adrian Peterson beat #23 Mizzou on the road 26 - 10. #20 Nebraska lost 41 - 29 at Oklahoma state. #21 Georgia Tech beat Miami 30 - 23. #24 Wake Forest beat North Carolina 24 - 17. Games in progress: #5 Texas is leading Texas Tech 35 - 31 early in the 4th #8 Tennessee is trailing South Carolina 17 - 14 end of 3rd #13 Arkansas leads LA Monroe 44 - 10 with a minute left #22 Texas A&M leads Baylor 31 - 21 2:15 left #25 Oregon leads 48 - 12 over Portland state late in the 4th More to come in the next few days​

אכן שבוע מטורף טרוג'נס מפסידים אחרי שלא משלימים 2 נקודות בסוף אחרי טאצ'דאון (למרות 406 יארד באוויר של בוטי), אוקלהומה סטייט (שהם אפילו יותר לוזרים מאוקלהומה) מנצחת את נבראסקה, ולצערי גייטורס לא מפסידים לג'ורג'יה. לפחות טנסי ואובורן נצחו. שנה שעברה אגב, אגיס-ביילור היה מותח ונגמר בהארה כפולה אחרי קאמ-בק גדול של הטיגרס וביילור השלימו ל-2 נקודות בצורה הירואית... השנה קצת פחות צמוד מישיגן מנצחים עוד קצת עד שהם יפסידו בקולומבוס בעוד קצת יותר מחצי חודש...

College competition & thanks Yo-man

Hi all from DC, Well first thanks a lot to Yoram for completing this week's summary. USC fell to #8 in the BCS and #9 in AP. Now everything is wide open for many one-loss-teams such as Auburn, Texas, Cal, Tennessee, Florida and unbeaten teams like Louisville, West Virginia, Rutgers, to grab the second spot in the national title game (the first spot of course is expected to belong to the winner of Michigan at Ohio state November 18th). I wouldn't count out the loser of UM-OSU as a potential national title game participant either (in fact this is my wet dream, Michigan - Ohio state in the championship game as well).
