אני מתכוון ל CASE במובן של computer-aided software engineering מתודיקה שבה משתמשים אנשי פיתוח תוכנה. זה נקרא CASE tool . תודה.

אני זוכר שלמדתי את זה...
אם תזכיר לי מה זה CASE TOOL אז אולי אני אזכר מה היו החסרונות והיתרונות. אם אני זוכר נכון אז כלי CASE אלה כלים שעוזרים לך לבצע פעולות שפעם היה לוקח מלא זמן לבצע והיום אתה לא מרגיש אותם בכלל: לדוגמא: פעם כדי לקמפל קוד היית צריך לעשות לו פעולה שנקראת LINKAGE. תכנתים ותיקים תמיד נוהגים לספר שהם היו עולים לקומה השלישית עושים לינק לקובץ יורדים לקומה השניה עושים לו BUILD, עולים לקומה הרביעית (לא זוכר מה הם היו עשים לו שם) וכו´ וכו´ היום סביבת עבודה אחת עושה לך את כל הפעולות האלה במכה אחת. אחד הייתרונות שזה חוסך זמן עבודה ואחד החסרונות זה שאתה מתרגל לעבוד בסביבה מסוימת וקשה לך לעבור סביבת עבודה. עוד חסרון הוא שאתה לא יודע דברים מהבסיס ולכן אם יש פתאום בעיות של מחסנית או דברים כאלו כמו שאומרים "מהברזלים" אתה לא יודע מה לעשות איתם... הבעיה שאני לא בטוח שמה שאמרתי הכוונה היא לכלי CASE... (אני כמעט בטוח, תתקן אותי אם טעיתי) יאיר
