Boycott the parking lot on Rehov HaShuk
I think they must be crazy. For years it cost 10 shekels for unlimited parking. A year or so ago they raised it to 15 shekels for unlimited parking. This week the owner decided to charge 15 shekels...for every HOUR. It doesn't matter if you are there for one hour or ten There's obviously a story behind the scenes. There has been a FOR SALE sign up there for a while. Maybe the insane pricing is a way of trying to force the Iriya to buy it? In any case, it's awful. Megged School has no parking lot and parents who have to carry heavy items to the school to do activities there often need to use that parking lot when there is nothing close to the school. Or people who need to go to Achuza and have mobility problems and can't park far away And it's not like they need people getting out because they need the space. That parking lot is never full. They just want to suck huge amounts of money out of people who have no other options.
