bloody bird strick
few days a go I was crop dusting near Kenya as I usualy do one a week for couple of days. at 10 feet of the ground on the swath run I find myself flying in to a floke of birds (belive crane type brid (about 2-3kg size)), I just started pulling up but it was too late - I bend in to the cokpit to protect myself while pulling up harder. one of them went through the prop and then stright into the winshild, the mass was all over!!! and I could not see ahead! the aircarft was still full of chomicals and emergency dump would by expensive. I joined downwind while being able to see through the side windows only. I went for left 180 degrees turn and skeeped base and finle leg so I could keep the airstrip in sight and all time, over the RWY numbers I lined out at 85kns and about 30 feet off the ground looking through the left side window only and asstimeting myself/the aircarf over the center line. I had a rough landing but mange to land the aircraft safly with not demge and with remaning loud, then it took us 20 mints cleening the aircarft before I was able to fly aigain. just wish you all weekend full of tharmals with/o bird striks.
