סליחה על האנגלית, אני כותב היום רק באנגלית. Abandon the rules, about the movie Bend It Like Beckham (2003 Lately I watched a fantastic movie that a friend recommended to me, "Bend It Like Beckham", I recommend this movie as well. The film is about an Indian girl Jess who really just wants to play soccer. But her orthodox parents don't want her to become a footballer. They thigh that now that she's a grown woman she should be learning things like how to prepare a full dinner and helping out with the preparations for her sister's upcoming wedding. Jess struggles to make a choice between tradition and her passion for sports. In the end she follows her dream. I loved the movie, because I related to the story. Jess needs to hide who she is to keep her parents happy. For example, she needs to hide the sports wear outside the house. A similar situation I went through. Before coming back from the city to my neighborhood (a crazy, fanatic religious world), I needed to hide my secular clothes. Even a song in the movie, Independence Day, by Melanie C., reflects my story. דער משכיל\ Here is a link to the lyrics from the song Independence Day, by Melanie C. http://lyrics.astraweb.com/displayp.cgi?melanie_c..unknown..independe...
