A few quick impressions from Beijing
The city has grown, there are new subway lines that cover a good part of the city, transportation is much better than it used to be... People are a bit more mature - they are more used to foreigners now (I guess because of the Olympics). No one is surprised when I speak to him in Chinese, which is quite nice The level of English has improved, slightly (very slightly) Food is as good as always - can't have enough of it. The cost of living has definitely gone up The living standard of living has definitely gone up That's it for now. Sorry for the short sentences - gotta run.
