I have invented and developed a product for kitchen use. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor cooking as well as on water crafts. The product is called: RomiSeal. It is a sealing ring made of silicone, 27 cm in diameter, suitable for cooking pots sized 20 to 25 cm in diameter. After food is placed inside the cooking pot, the silicone ring is placed on the rim of the pot. The lid is placed on top of the ring and additional bands are attached to the lid, to seal it tightly. This invention reduces cooking time by about 30%, which helps create savings on the personal, domestic, national and global levels, by using less gas, reducing pollution and cutting down on deforestation. RomiSeal promotes safety: if the pot falls accidentally, the ring and bands prevent boiling content from spilling out and causing severe burns. Under the auspice of a recently established startup company, this product is currently being further developed and improved, and design work has commenced on a survival cookware product, which is able to distill salt water and alcohol.
