שמחות קטנות
Shalom banot, I've had many days of frustration, tears and trying to cope with my body as I gather strength from exercises and imunim. My body IS getting better, though I'm dealing with an injured knee - the result of my "rock and roll" walk. (My voice, with paralysis of one side of my vocal cords, seems to be deteriorating right now...) So this morning was a welcome bright spot. As many of you have experienced, those early morning treks in the dawn bring a smile and energy to the start of a new day. As many of you have experienced, sharing imunim with a friend gives added joy and meaning to what we do. This morning I was lucky enough to have both! - I shared an early morning open water swim with a friend, showered at her beach side house (what an incredible view of the ocean each day, with the best spot to view sunsets!), then was at Pilates at 8am. The combination filled me with energy and optimism. The day seems bright. I am glad to be me today and look forward to the rest of the week and month! May this month without "chagim" bring celebration and joy from within each of us, that we share with others. With love and a hug to all, Susie
