שאיבה ובקבוק

אסתר שלום, מיכל בת 10 שבועות ולפני 5 שבועות התחלתי לשאוב חלב ולתת לה בקבוק כדי שתתרגל לבקבוק (לפעמים צריך לצאת מהבית בלעדיה..). מיכל סירבה בתוקף וצרחה בהיסטריה. אי לכך התחלתי לפני כשבוע לשאוב מדי יום ולתת לה ארוחה אחת מבקבוק מדי יום (כדי שתתרגל לבקבוק וכדי שלי תהיה אופציה לצאת מהבית מדי פעם). זה יכול לפגוע בהנקה? שאלה נוספת - מיכל יונקת במהלך היום לעיתים קרובות מאוד (בערך כל שעתיים ולעיתים פחות). אין לה סדר יום קבוע ואני לא יכולה לצפות מתי תרצה לאכול. שמעתי שיש תינוקות יונקים שאוכלים כל מספר שעות קבוע (למשל כל 3 שעות בדיוק). האם המצב אצלנוו בסדר? תודה

Babies and bottles

Most babies hate bottles, and refuse to take them when offered. Babies are meant to be breastfed and not bottle fed. If you want your baby to take a bottle, she will in the end, but not from you. Let someone else give her the bottle, and make sure they do not hold her in breastfeeding position. Let her sit in a salkal to take the bottle, or wome other position that is not like breastfeeding. Dodn´t force the bottle in her mouth, but offer it and let her take it when she is ready. Even babies who totally refuse the bottle, will take it in the end, and giving a bottle once a week/day/month usually doesn´t make any difference one way or another. AS for your baby´s eating being predictable, it probably will not be. Babies do not understand the clock, and eat according to when their bodies tell them they are hungry. You should be feeding your baby when she starts making sucking motions with her mouth. YOu should give her the first breast until she finishes it and lets go, change her diaper and then offer her the second breast. Start with a different breast each feed. If she is latching well onto the breast ( NOT the nipple) then she will get as much milk as she needs in that feed, and when whe is ready, she will ask for another feed. Don´t pay attention to the clock..........watch your baby!!​
