Hello everyone. We are getting ready to let go of the lines and start our leg to Papua New Guinea! (About 4500 nautical, get to Palmayra atoll in about a week and stay there for 2-4 days. We are delivering mail [lots of it with many packages too, and two HUGE (150lb) Propane tanks to the 6 people who are on the atoll.] Next we will sail to Canton atoll (another week sailing) and stay there for 2-3 days. We will reach Funafuti atoll next (another week sailing) and repeat the same. After Funafuti we will arrive in the Solomon Islands. There we sail for a few days and then set sail to Papua (Port Moresby) where me and Dad will fly to the USA on March 27th. We need to be in Israel on April 4th and then Passover in New Jersey and back to Papua on the 19th of April for the next leg to Australia (Darwin) thru the Great Barrier Reef (Some SCUBA will be mandatory there). We will get to Darwin in the first week of May and hopefully leave for the next leg within a couple of weeks. The crew for the current leg on Aliza is Moshe, Efraim, Steve and Rafi. Rafi is the new crew. He is a retired mechanical engineer from Israel and flew with me to Hawaii on January 29th to join this leg of our cruising. The time in Hawaii was great! Not just because it is a nice place to be in February
. It is the people we meet and new friends we make that make the whole thing a wonderful experience. I hope to write a real update along the way and send you all the URL for it later. Efraim and the Aliza crew,
