It always good to take something long for a flight because of the air condition... In Bombay now the weather is really good, warm and dry in the day (sandals will be good during the day) and cool during the evening. I don't think a coat is necessary but bring some sweatshirt or something long for the evening. Have a nice flight and have fun.
