You can afford living in W1 if you so wish

If you look through the forum, you will soon notice the widespread tendency /preference for Israeli migrants to go for areas where they can find other Israelis.

It is good to see someone with other preferences. well, if you are going to work near Oxford Circus, you can probably afford to live within a walking distance from work. It is very convenient, and you do not need to commute - saving time and money. The downside of it is that the area might be a bit expensive, but if you compare rent + travel [i.e. monthly/annual travel card costs] in zone 3 to living in zone 1, the gap would not be that large. There are some reasonable residential properties in central London- ideally north of Oxford Street. You will have to contact an estate agent,; prior viewing of the property is obligatory. here is a well known local one: http://www.rib.co.uk/ it's a reputable local independent local agent. For £2,000pm you can easily get a reasonable two bed flat. You are well aware of the fact that there might be restrictions on dogs - this applies to everywhere in London. Try to choose a location within the area covered by Westminster City Council and NOT Camden, as Westminster's Council Tax charge is much lower. Another advantage of living in W1 [as I do] is that generally speaking, you have some very good medical facilities - NHS ones of course. - I am one of those who are quite happy with the NHS; I do not see the need for private medical insurance. given the excellent facilities we have in W1. A good relocation package for someone earning as much as you do should include: - help with organising working visas for you and your husband -help with shipping some luggage - help with finding somewhere to live- and this includes providing references -private medical care -life insurance cover/pension arrangements -season ticket loan Regards from W1 It is freezing this week in London

תתפלאי. יש הרבה סיבות. חלקם קשורים בילדים

שאני מבין שאין לך עוד. סיבות אחרות קשורות בבן הזוג. אולי את כבר מאוד מעורה בתרבות האנגלית בגלל העבר שלך אבל להרבה יותר נוח (לפחות בהצחלה) שיש חברים ישראלים בסביבה שאפשר לחלוק חוויות וקשיים משותפים.
