שלום, אני מתרגם עכשיו סיפור קצת מאנגלית לעברית, ויש מספר דברים שהייתי רוצה להתייעץ איתכם, לגביהם - הביטוי "Pushing the envelope". אני יודע שמשמעותו זה למתוח את הגבולות, אבל האם יש ביטוי מקביל בעברית? במשפט - I’m just a gallowglass–a mercenary and a foot soldier מופיעה המילה gallowglass שהיא עד כמה שהבנתי מילה אירית לחייל רגל. למישהו יש רעיון איך לתרגם אותה? במשפט - He roasted it slow and, because he had a fondness for drumsticks, ate all six legs first, along with three small bunyips מופיעה המילה bunyip, שהיא כנראה איזשהו מאכל... אולי תפוח אדמה, כלשהו. למישהו יש מושג מה זה בדיוק? תודה מראש
