מהן הזכויות שלי?

יש לי אזרחות אנגלית ומעולם לא גרתי באנגליה. ולאחרונה התחלתי לחשוב ברצינות לעבור לגור שם. האם תוכלו לתת לי מעט אינפורמציה לגבי הזכויות שמגיעות לי, כאזרח שמעולם לא חי באנגליה? האם אני זכאי לאותן זכויות של אזרח שנולד וחי שם תמיד? האם אני זכאי לסיוע כלשהו מבחינת מיסים? דיור? עבודה? השכלה? אודה לתגובתכם!

לכן אתה לא זכאי לרוב ההטבות של המקומיים המעמד שלך יהיה דומה לתושב האיחוד שעובר לגור בבריטניה בנוסף לזכות להצביע בבחירות עכשיו, אם אתה באמת מגיע מארה"ב אתה תגלה שתושב כאן זכאי להרבה יותר מבארה"ב (למשל - ביטוח רפואי של המדינה)

The most significant entitlement is for free medical care -the National health scheme [NHS]. The rest depends on residency - unemployment benefit, housing assistance, disability allowances. Please google on each of the terms for details. Education: as you are not a resident for over 3 years, you will have to finance your own studies and pay the full fees. However, if you are unemployed, and have been on a job seekers allowance/actively seeking work through a job centre, then you might qualify for some short practical work experience courses. again, google for the terms I used. Please note that usually the university education cycle starts at the age of 18-19-20, and mature students are not so well catered for, especially with student loans/fees/assistance. Many local students here have to rely on parental financial support. Same applies to higher degree courses. if you start working, you will be taxed as a normal working person in the UK. This includes income tax and national insurance contributions. see the relevant websites for further details. good luck​
