From : Raikin, Shlomo Subject : RE: FW: WAGC Entry Hi all, I have just spoken to Ofer, he will represent us this year. He will be in contact tonight/tomorrow morning with the tournament organization. GOOD LUCK to OFER or Josh Detail candidate selection system we will close and write in annual meeting Reagrds Ruslan -----Original Message----- leCagot Sent: Monday, February 26, 2007 5:48 PM Subject: Re: FW: WAGC Entry the way I see it, Ofer should be this year's representative for 2 reasons: A. Leonid passed his turn (in order to go to Korea next Year), Amir went to Korea this year and Eitan was in Japan 2 years ago. so by the 3 year rule, it'd Ofer's turn. B (for me, much more important): by sending Ofer, we, as the Israely Go Association show young player and players that are not "connected" that going to WAGC/Korea is based upon achievements and not on relations with the ppl in power. I think that such a thing will bring a lot of "fresh blood" into the AMUTA and help us promote israely go. last thing - for those of you who don't know, I've opened a Go forum on tapuz. I suggest that until we have a site for the AMUTA with forum in it, that this will be our official forum. that way ppl that are not on this mailing list will be able to know what's going on. the forum's address is : http://www.tapuz.co.il/tapuzforum/main/forumpage.asp?id=1532 or http://forums.tapuz.co.il/go > ----- Original Message ----- > From: leonid entin > Sent: Monday, February 26, 2007 13:31 > Subject: Re: FW: WAGC Entry > Hi, > I'd like to list here the main points of the new candidate selection >system I'm going to propose for our general meeting.
