האם כדאי לשכור מדריכת הנקה ? או שהדרכת האחיות מספיקה ? תודה, ענת

It depends on the problem

Most nurses have taken a basic course in breastfeeding which has greatly improved their knowledge in the field, but for real problem solving, they just do not have time to sit with you and may not have the clinical skills. If you do call a yoetset hanaka, make sure that she has the initials IBCLC after her name, and a certificate to prove it. there are many people who have taken courses without even clinical hours and they call themselves yoetsot hanaka but really do not have the skills to help you as you should. they take money for their service, but do not give you the professionalism, and expertise which the IBCLC title represents. By the way, ICEC are NOT certified..........they have just taken a course which is fine for childbirth educators, but not really good enough to help you as you deserve. Good luck.​

רוב האחיות השתתפו בקורס בסיסי בהנקה, ששיפר מאוד את הידע שלהן בתחום, אבל לפיתרון בעיות ממשי, פשוט אין להן את הזמן לשבת איתך, וייתכן אף שאין להן את הכישורים הקליניים הדרושים. אם תתקשרי ליועצת הנקה, ודאי שאחרי השם שלה מופיעות האותיות IBCLC, וכי יש לה תעודה המוכיחה זאת. יש רבות שהשתתפו בקורסים אפילו בלי שעות קליניות ומכנות את עצמן יועצות הנקה, אף שלמעשה אין להן את הכישורים הדרושים לעזור לך כמו דצריך. הן גובות כסף על שירותיהן, אבל אינן נותנות לך את המומחיות והמקצוענות שהתואר IBCLC מייצג. אגב, מדריכות הנקה אינן יועצות מוסמכות... הן רק השתתפו בקורס שמתאים למי שעוסקות בחינוך בתחום הלידה, אבל אינו מספיק לתת לך את העזרה שאת ראויה לה. בהצלחה.

Between 300 and 400 shekels

That is or at least 2 1/2 hours, plus follow up phone calls. Remember that a box of artificial milk costs 40 shekels, and a baby finishes a box about every 2-3 days if he is not breastfeeding. If you see a good IBCLC it is worth every agara.​
