depends..
you like culture, beijing, you like chilling out, chengdu, you really like chilling out, lijiang hehe, you want to live in "paris", shanghai, you want to study cantonise, guangzhou or hong kong, and thats only the big cities. you want history and new in the same place, xian, you want the sino-japanise war monuments, nanjing, you want nice lake in the middle of ur place, hangzhou. prices.. east cost beijing and shanghai, if in the middle of the city 2000-3000 yuan a month, if more modest place, 1500, maybe less I never lived in china but I'm planning to move so I keep asking ppl. guangzhou you can stay for 1200, hong kong so expensive, but you earn a lot too az mitkazez. sichuan or yunnan(west and chilled out places) are less expensive, xian is expensive too. thats as far a accomodation goes. for living cost, shanghai is expensive, but u can find some cheap places to eat, hong kong very expensive as far as everything goes, beijing you can find cheap places, but maybe it will take some time, the more southwest you go the cheaper it gets basicly. Please do correct me if I'm wrong, I've never lived in china but I keep asking ppl everything, whenever I meet them, cause I'm planning to move to china.
