We have one dude who got annoyed with us, but don't mind him. You know, some of us speak to each other about things that do not connect Sarit and that is just fine, but you know, you can always write me in a privet and I hope you know how. I'm sorry to hear you feel like America is not a part of Israel and Europe, that is sad at my opinion too. I can't imagine why your friends laugh at you coz you like Sarit...strange, but I guess they are not used to her kinda music. It's a shame, since she got a really special voice and some really terrific music! Well, all I can say is that it's their own lost You know, to be honest? I am not really into Israeli Music much. Mostly, I hear music that is LOAZIT (I can't put that word right in English, he he he) I hear everything! From Britney Spears to The Corrs which I adore!! I think the artists I hear most are: The Corrs, Kylie Minogue, Nightwish, Avril Levign...do you hear any of those? They rock!!! From the Israeli Music I only listen to Sarit, and some of the other Israeli singers here and there, no one touches me like she does...it's incredible Yes, I have been to Canada just recently. I think a month ago only. It's a long story - I've been to Canada years ago with my whole family. I was about 3 years old and we were in a city that is called Vancouver, if you know it. It's an amazing city, just goregous, and we have stayed there for a couple of months...and alot of times. My dad works there (still today) so we lived there for a while. I even went to a summer school there and have no idea how I manage to get along with the other kids, which spoke English. But I think there were people who spoke Hebrew, cox it was a Jewish community. This place have left alot of memories for me, precious memories I carried all of my life. Ever since I was 3 years old and all the years 'till now (I'm 22) I have remembered that city which I loved, these were the good old times for me, and I always always wanted to come back there, it was abit of a dream for me. And I had an opportunity now. My dad is working there and he had retired from the University, but he still does some work, so I joined along. Can u imagine how thrilling it was for me? WOW The Uni was close to the appartment were we stayed so I came there to surf the net..that is all I might tell u more next time I wanted to ask - in your free time, what do you do for fun? Where do u hang out? I bet there are loads of cool places in NYC
Till we talk next time, kisses Niva

Niva!

Sorry I couldn't write back until now, I had so much work and many tests. I took your advice about the chocolate
I hope it helped. Shay seems like a really big fan, I hope he doesnt get mad.. Its probably cuz he can't understand us Your right it really is my freinds own loss that they cant appreciate good music. I guess they get scared by the idea of foreign music, they just go along with the regular American music. That was a surprise! You like loazit! I guess our music is ok, but Sarit Hadad and some other singers (a few) have really interesting songs. I've used to like many singers like Eyal Golan and Zehava Ben, but when I heard Sarit Hadad I totally forgot about everything else and bought all of her CDs. She is really THE BEST. I hear a little music on the radio here, but otherwise its like only Israeli music for me. Its just so special and different and I love hearing the words in another language and figuring out the meaning. Its just SO much fun! Wow your dream came true! Its great to travel to places you know and love. It brings back all the memories and after 19 years! Wow! It must have been great. (Sometimes I wait so long to go to Israel , like 3 years, and its really hard for me so I cant imagine you waiting so long). I've been to Canada once, it's really nice there. You must have had a really great time!!! What does your dad do? Now I'm starting to understand why you love English so much! Its great!!! Well, I dont live so close to Manhattan, where all the action is. Its about 45 minutes away and with a lot of traffic. So I stay close to home and go to friends' houses or see movies. I live in a small town, so its kinda quiet. Theres probably just as much to do in Israel so.. what do you do for fun? So you mean private like in msn or icq? If you have one we can also talk there - we can also send stuff (i have video clips i made from tv shows and when I was in Israel
so if you have msn or something and you want I can send them to you!! So I hope we can talk again soon and again sorry it took me long to get back!

Ya this is really fun! They should be "scared" because they dont know english and how important it is! Its really fun for me to talk to you, and about Sarit Hadad in English since there aren't a lot of people to talk to about her around here in New York, unfortunately. My friends make fun of me for liking her. I even have an frind who, came from Israel, but he acts like the rest of the Americans here and just pretends he's never heard of her. Its really sad. Its like America is isolated from Israel and Europe. I think Hebrew is a hard language, but I learned it after being in second grade, and hearing my parents speak it all the time. So I can understand it and speak it, but youre right, it is a hard language to read and write. But I think English too is very complicated with all the grammar rules and all the exceptions to the rules. Israel is probably as safe as New York, but my parents worry since the violence happens more often, even though when it happens in New York, its much much bigger. Its ok to feel embarrased. Everytime I go to Israel on the plane they start asking me questions (like what would you like to drink)in hebrew and that first time is always hard. But after that its easy. I have a keyboard with only English, but on Windows XP, there is a program that has the keyboard on the screen and you click the letters in any language with the mouse, so I use that. How was Canada? You went to University there? As long as I come to Israel this summer, I will surely tell you, and we can meet each other and speak English and maybe even meet Sarit! Ill try to write again whenever I can because I have a lot of tests in school now :(, but Ill try to write again as soon as possible!

בדיוק שי...אני לא מסכימה איתך שזה

לא מתאים פה בפורום כי כולם פה מדברים על דברים שגם לא קשורים לשרית... ואנחנו תמיד גם מדברים על שרית, ככה שזה בסדר.
