I´ll answer in English since I have no Heb. keyboard. The state universities in Germany teach, as far as I know, only in German. However, there are some private colleges/universities that teach in English. One of them is the ECLA: http://www.ecla.de/ They (at least this one) are vey expensive. I may be wrong - you might want to ask in DAAD and in Goethe Institut (there are in Tel Aviv, and if you don´t find them through the telephone book, you might try to contact the embassy - they will refer you) This is a site in English about studying in Germany: http://www.campus-germany.de If I may be personal, I am studying in Germany and living here. Most people in Germany, as farfetched at it might seem, have lousy English. It is very difficult to get along here (buy in stores, rent an apartment, order in restaurants, get a job) without some knowledge of German. Unlike the rumours, it is not that horrible. Think of it as an under-developed type of English. Give it a try, because if you plan to live in a country for several years, it is going to be very unpleasant not to speak the language. With an intensive German course, I could reach university level (reading academic artilces) after one year.
