To Daniel

Hey There, Well, you see I wrote your name correctly this time. Yes, I agree totally with you about the English thing! Most Israelis do not take this language seriously, which is a huge shame! It is one of the easiest languages, not to mention 1 of the most important and 1 of the most used ones. I take it seriously since I think it's a beautiful and a cool language and very essential. You are absolutely right about English helping you in life!! You got that right! First, I think you have to know it, if u wanna look for things on the Internet (most Info is written in english), everything is English these days, so I can imagion how hard it is to try getting along without it. Also, you know, when I was abroad, I had to fly alone to Swiss...I had to speak English to some people who work in the airport for some help. How can anyone get along alone without knowing English??? It helped me alot, and luckily, I can speak Eng to whoever freely. I am lucky in that sense You know, I realize why you think I am so lucky to have met Sarit so many times, but the truth? I am luckier to know English so well
Now, don't take me wrong!! I adore Sarit!! I am lucky to have the opportunity to see her so much. You know, the thing is that I live in Tel Aviv and the office is obviously very close. I go quite alot to see her, but I have decided that I should come less and give her some space. BUT every time I meet her it's so exciting and spirit lifting for me. She's truly a wonderful girl...and she's a real SWEETHEART And have loads of patience too....heheh....which is GOOD About the DVD - oh yes Daniel - it's incredible! Just as they say, and they're not going overboard at all It shows that people have worked their asses off on this DVD Alot of great work! So many wonderful things are in there...the whole performance, a duat of Sarit and Ibrahim, behind the scenes of "Rak ATA" video and "Hagiga", and so much more.. I was blown away!!! So glad I got the new DVD which I was waiting ages for! You should buy it AS AP!!! You won't be disappointed Sure glad to hear u get all of her CDs and DVDs, when u live so far away! COOL DUDE WOW this message is long enough. Keep writing! Niva.

Its ok you spelled my name wrong! All of your English is so good! You will definitely have it easier in life. I don't understand how most people get around without knowing english! Its' just soo important to know! Also, I was wondering how you knew English so well! Were did you lern it? My guess was that you lived in Canada or in the U.S. Ive heard and seen so much about Sarit being so uplifting and exciting. Its nice you give her space. It also makes it more special everytime you see her. BUt its like a dream to meet her for me, and I get so excited when she comes here for a concert! The closest I got to meeting her was when she smiled at me!! Im happy the DVD is so great! I wanted to see the duet with Sarit and Ibrahim (I almost bought Ibrahim's concerton tape when I saw Sarit was on it!)but most of all the Rak Ata clip!! Im just dying to get it and see the concert and the clip and all the extras it always comes with, but it might take a month to order it online :( But im willing to wait. So its ok you write a lot! Its great to talk to you!!1

Dear Daniel ../images/Emo26.gif

I know that for you it must be a dream to meet Sarit, coz you live all the way over NYC and you never get to see her. It's pretty easy to meet Sarit when you live in Israel, you know. She's reachable Which is one of the best things about her. I don't know what I would have done if I couldn't meet her from time to time - oh man, that would be really hard for me It's pretty bummering that you went to the office one time and you just missed her. I bet you were disapooited. But you can see her at concerts and stuff, which is something. You know, if u were here in Israel, I wouldn't mind at all goin' to the office with you some day and I PROMISE you, you would meet Sarit. Every time I come, she arrives!! It's a luck I tell ya...and she's there quite alot working, so it's pretty easy to see her Next time u are in the country, please notify me and your chance to meet Sarit hadad will come true. ??
Now, about my English - your guess was expected, however, it isn't correct. I have never ever lived over seas or went to an English school in my life, nothing like that. My good English is basically from alot of practice and high passion for the language. Do you want the truth? It's actually funny - I always loved Englsih when I was in school, I was pretty good at that ever since the 4th grade. But the truth is that when I was like 13 years old, I started to admire a famous English girls group. So, I started to buy books about them and everything I could, which were all English of course. I heard many interview with them, and so I got really interested and practice mt English that way. I also used to practice speaking...when no one was around...it was fun and I always wanted to know how to speak . So you see, I learnt it by myself mostly, and what I learnt in school. In addition, it's pretty funny but I feel like I am an American at heart. I mean, I love English so much, and I love Ameriacn food (like burgers, and frais) And American music and clothes...and I just love the USA, it rocks And just another example to what you said, that English will help me in life - I just started a new job and they asked me how was my English, and I said it was really good, and so they gave me the job! So once again, English ROCKS
I wanted to know, you are living in New York, so do u live in Manheten? (sorry if I wrote it Incorrectly). Also, I bet u are going to school there, what can you tell me about it? And at home - Do you speak English or Hebrew? I am sure u will meet Sarit one day, so keep that dream alive and keep the faith. It's great to be writing to you too

Niva Sorry...

Im sorry I couldnt write to you until now. I was on a vacation for the weekend and I didn't have any access to a computer.Wow. I would love to meet Sarit with you!! I would definitely tell you, the next time I come to Israel, the only problem is Im not sure when that will be. My family tries to come once a year, but with the bombings and everything it doesnt always work out. So I guess if we come in the summer I will definitely tell you and we can go to the office!!!! Im surprised you learned english like that all by yourself!! English isnt such an easy language! I think hebrew is much easier, and less complex. Its amazing you could learn it like that!!!!!! Its also great you could get the job since you knew english. So many Israelis just dont understand all the uses of English! You sure write like your an American at heart! Its great you like the American culture. I feel the same about Israel. I love Israeli music, especially Sarit Hadad OF COURSE! I love shwarma and the food in Israel. I also like the Israeli shows like Mishack Hahaim and Lechayey Haahava and Lagaat Baosher :) And most of all I lOVE visiting Israel whenever I can!! So its great you love Amercia, I love Israel just the same. So here goes... I used to live in the Bronx, one of 5 boroughs of New York City. Manhattan is also one of the boroughs and it was close by. In the Bronx, I went to a jewish school, where I learned half Hebrew and half English. But that was only until second grade. Then I moved to Ardsley, which is in Westchester, about 45 minutes from Manhattan. So now I just go to a regular American shcool and Im in 10th grade At home, I speak English, but my dad is Israeli, so he speaks to me in mostly Hebrew and some English and I answer in English :) So thats about me, what about you? You have a job? How is it? You probably speak Hebrew all the time? How is it to live in Israel?? So I hope to meet Sarit soon, maybe you and her together, but that will have to wait until at least this next summer. So until then, lets keep writing...
