Dear Alanis, We are writing this letter in hope that it finds its way to you, knowing it's probably one out of a million of letters of fans who write you every day. And so, we are pleading on our (metaphorical) knees, hands thrown up in the air in a unanimous cry (do you get the picture?) : “Come to Israel, Alanis!” We, the “Israeli Alanis Forum”, are a group of whole-heartedly devoted, very much loving, only slightly fanatic fans, who’s been following your career attentively from the very beginning (that is, “the very beginning” as earliest as circumstances allowed). There is a huge fan base here in our small and troubled yet beautiful country, celebrating you and your music, who would like nothing more than the chance to watch you perform as beautifully and magically as you do, and so well. The lucky amongst as that got to see you on the two occasions you came to Israel, still remember your dazzling performance, while the less fortunate of us, can do nothing but keep dreaming of a chance like that coming again and slapping themselves for missing the previous ever-so-rare ones. Your music, soulful lyrics, magnetic energy and undeniable talent have influenced our lives to such a degree it can not be put into words. You’ve touched each and every one of us, and we’ll be forever grateful for that. Seeing you, performing live (singing, talking, moving, breathing and what not- we’re not fussy) would be sheer joy, delight, happiness and all those wonderful lovely things, that you must not want to deprive from us, as we are such loyal fans

. Because the moment you step on stage, you simply really do make us happy (cheesy, corny of foolish as it may sound). It would be a rare privilege we will all treasure, seeing you live. And so, we’re on our knees again. Please please (pleeeeeeease) come. It really would mean the world to us all, cause all we really want is you in Israel, a way to calm our aching hearts. Come, or we’ll cry. Literally, we’re not kidding. Forever listening, With all our love (and there’s plenty of it), Your fans in Israel, the “Israeli Alanis Forum”.
