יקותיאל או יקוטיאל?

לדעתי זה בת', אבל מישהי בעבודה מתעקשת איתי שבט'. ובכלל - מה פירוש "יקותי-אל? מאיזה שורש זה?

ומה הפירוש?

זותי מהעבודה אמרה לי שזה: G-d will hear me או G-d will listen to me (ה´ יקשיב לי או ה´ ישמע אותי) - האמנם? מאיזה שורש זה?

זה רק אם היא צרפתיה

כי בצרפתית couter = listen אבל אין לצרפתים דריסת רגל בשורשים עבריים - עד כמה שידוע לי.

זה מה שזכור לי משיעורי הצרפתית בילדותי הרחוקה, שאת רובם ביליתי אמנם מחוץ לכיתה (במחששה או על גבעת התחמושת) אבל משהו בכ"ז נשאר (אולי). וחוץ מזה, בפורטוגלית (זה בסדר עידן?) זה Escurar. כל זה טוב ויפה, אבל עדיין לא הבנתי מה השורש של יקותי או יקוטי ומה פירושו.

הנה מה מצאתי

Earliest Reference Nevertheless, the first reference in Jewish literature to the custom of naming a child at his circumcision is found in Pirke de-Rabbi Eliezer, a late rabbinic work from the beginning of the seventh century C.E.: The parents of Moses saw that his appearance was like that of an angel of God. They circumcised him on the eighth day and called him Yekutiel. (Chapter 48) Yekutiel, a compound of yekuti, apparently from the root yakah (to obey), and the word for God, el, means "obedient to God." Yekutiel is found in I Chronicles 4:18, and according to both the midrash (rabbinic homilies on the Bible) and targum (Aramaic translations of Scripture) of this verse, it refers to Moses. He was named Yekutiel because he looked like an angel, an obedient servant of God.​

כמובן שהתכוונתי Escutar

גיליתי שאפשר גם בט´.

אני גם חשבתי כגנגי שכותבים בת´. נכנסתי לאתר "עולם התינוק" שיש שם אשף שמות לתינוקות. וזה מה שכתוב על "יקותיאל" (לא הצלחתי לשים קישור, מצטערת). יקותיאל - היה אביו של זנוח (דברי הימים א´ ד´ י"ח). משמעותו - איזכור של הא-ל. כתיב נוסף - יקוטיאל.
