ראיון עם בריאן וליאן: (´NicksDestiny´ at the MFC heard this interview yesterday morning and this is her review) Brian & Leighanne were on a local radio station this morning. They were judges for Star94 Atlanta Idol contest. Anyway—to get to the point. Vicki asked Brian what was going on in the life’s of the Backstreet Boys. Brian said that they were all on hiatis(sp) at this point. I wish that I could remember the exact quote from Brian—maybe they will put the audio up on Star94.com – anyway, he did say that Nick totally dropped the bomb on them earlier in the year about “going solo” and that there were discussions of them recording the album as a quartet?!?!?! But that the label and all the politics of that just wouldn’t work. He said that “honestly he really wants to record another record, as do all of the boys-b/c they love to make music and that they have so many fans that love their music” But here is the scary part--he said that “ He Honestly can’t tell you what the future holds for him or the rest of the guys” Later Vicki made a comment about Brian Litrell “formally of the Backstreet Boys” and he stopped her and said that isn’t what he said and she something to the fact that he said the future was unsure—and unless they plan on replacing Nick-and he stopped her and said that wasn’t an option—and what he didn’t tell her was that Nick has been “blowing up his cell phone!” So take it as you will—but it came right from Brian’s Mouth. On a Happy Note—Leighanne is doing great—she is about 7 months along..and Vicki said that she looked like one of those models that model maternity close—and you know that it is a pillow b/c they are perfect except for their little round belly. ניו יורק טיימס: Other factors were undermining the band. Executives working with the Backstreet Boys said band members had stopped getting along after the release of "Black and Blue." Executives with the Firm were also frustrated with the band for not working as hard as ´N Sync seemed to be, especially in making public appearances. Furthermore, Mr. Littrell´s wife, Leighanne Wallace, who was critical of the Firm, began exerting a major influence over his decisions, according to executives close to the band, incurring resentment both within and outside the group. Last March, the Backstreet Boys had a group meeting because they felt that they weren´t getting the personal attention they needed and had been used to before the Firm expanded. "They´ve built a huge, very powerful company, and they´re good people," Mr. Richardson said. "But this past year, some bad decisions were made and some bad advice given." With Mr. McLean and Mr. Littrell strongly advocating leaving the Firm, the band walked into the offices of the Firm to deliver an ultimatum. Much to the band members´ surprise, the Firm did not put up much resistance to their leaving. The bigger shock came when the other group members found out that Nick Carter, arguably the most popular of them, had chosen to remain. The Firm told the group that it would manage his solo career, and the band stormed out. Mr. Azoff said that he had signed on to help the band members with their commitment to a long-term career. Whether that will happen remains to be seen, but Mr. Azoff is unconcerned with the current debate over tensions between the band and Mr. Carter. "Whether Nick is in the band or not, it doesn´t frighten me," Mr. Azoff said. "The Eagles changed members three times, and it didn´t hurt their career." Basically BSB signed with a new management team while Nick decided to stay with The Firm. The article also talks about BSB´s problems with Jive records. They are calling for an investigation into the financial dealings with Jive. And Kevin talks about none of them wanting to release The Greatest Hit´s cd, and being unhappy with the Black and Blue Cd. It´s sad really. מי שאין לה כוח לקרוא- היה להם ריב (לבויז).... הם לא הסתדרו... כי "פריים" הכריחו אותם להוציא את צ´אפטר 1 ואת בלאק אנד בלו והם לא רצו. ובסוף הם החליטו לעזוב אותם-וניק אמר להם שהוא רוצה להשאר וחתם איתם בשביל הסולו שלו... למה הוא חייב להרוס?? למה??

הראשונה:

ליאן ובריאן היו בתחנת רדיו והוא אמר שזאת הייתה להם הפתעה ענקית כשניק אמר שהוא עושה סולו, ואז הם שקלו להקליט את הדיסק החדש בתור רביעיה.. אבל חברת התקליטים שלהם אמרה שהכל יהיה בסדר, והם מקליטים בהרכב מלא.. וניק באמת רוצה להקליט עוד דיסק.. הוא אמר שהוא באמת לא יודע מה הולך להיות העתיד עם הבקסטריט בויז. ואז השדרנית המפגרת הזאתי אמרה- בריאן ליטרל- בקרוב אקס בקסטריט בויז, ואז הוא עצר אותה ותיקן אותה, אב היא אמרה שהוא בעצמו לא יודע מה יהיה עם הלהקה, ושזאת לא אופציה להחליף את ניק. ובקשר לליאן- היא נראת כמו דוגמנית בהריון... עם בטן פיצפונת כזאתי.. 7 חודשים וכמעט לא רואים.. אוף.... אני מה זה בדיכאון בגלל 2 הכתבות האלה...

אבל איך אתן מסבירות את זה?

הרי אז בתקופה הרעה של איי.ג´וש ניק אמר כשהוא בכה שהוא לא חושב שיהיה סוף לבקסטריט עד שאחד מהם ימות... ודווקא הוא יגיד או יגרום לדבר כזה... אני לא מאמינה! אני חושבת שהכל רכילויות.... עובדה שגם היה לאייג´יי את הפרוייקט של הסולו שלו ולא היה בעיה עם אף אחד על זה עכשיו הם סתם מפוצצים כי גם ככה בקסטריט שקטים בזמן האחרון עם כל מה שהיה לנו... אז הם ישר מפיצים שמועות ועושים בלאגנים. בכל אופן גם אם מישהו יירצה שהלהקה תתפרק זה לא יהיה ניק וזה לא בגלל שאני מתה עליו פשוט הוא אמר את זה אז בראיון ואני עוד זוכרת שבריאן כזה צחקק בלעג על הקטע הזה כאילו אין מצב שהם יישארו כל כך הרבה זמן... אבל אני לא מאמינה גם שיש מצב שהם נשארו כל כך קצת זמן מאז... בכל אופן אני לא מאמינה לזה כי אלפי פעמים אמרו דברים כאלו עד שלא תהיה הודעה רשמית ובע"ה לא תהיה. אני נשארת נאמנה ליפים שלי ולא לצהובונים ועיתוני רכילויות! אז לדעתי אתן לא צריכות לדאוג בנות

אבל זה בכל זאת נראה ממש אמיתי... ועצוב.... ומבאס.... אבל...................... לא כדאי סתם להתעצבן עכשיו, לכו תדעו אם זה באמת נכון.... אני עדיין לא ממש מאמינה לזה... איפה זה היה כתוב בכלל?
