וביוגרפיה: Audrey Liddell on Dawson's Creek Best known to television audiences for her role on the critically acclaimed Freaks and Geeks, Philipps joined the cast of Dawson's Creek during the series' fifth season. She has recently completed shooting the independent feature film Home Room and was last seen in Anatomy of a Hate Crime, an MTV movie based on the real life-story of Matthew Shepard, as well as the feature film The Smokers, also starring Dominique Swain and Oliver Hudson. Born in Oak Park, Illinois, and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, Philipps first fell in love with acting during her third-grade class production of Charlotte's Web, in which she played Wilbur the Pig. Voted "Best Actress" and "Most Likely to Become a Famous Actress" in high school, Philipps studied acting at the Actors Lab of Arizona and completed a summer program in England at the Oxford School of Drama in 1998. She also wrote and produced two plays for the Actors Lab of Arizona. Although Philipps often performed in Scotsdale's community theater, her first professional job came at age 17 when Mattel hired her to be a live Barbie at Toy Industry Association, Inc.'s American International Toy Fair, the largest toy trade show in the Western Hemisphere. A year later, Philipps relocated to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount College and pursue her passion for acting. Phillips, whose birth name is Elizabeth, was given the name of Busy when she was just 6-months old by her mother who claims the youngster was always on the go. When not working, Philipps is continuing her writing and is currently working on a screenplay.
