Doing a hard reset will erase all of your phones's data including applications that you install and your contacts as well. This means it will be reverted back to its original state and its built-in apps are the ones that will remain.
1.) First and foremost, make sure that the phone is at least 50% charged just to avoid interruptions in the process.
2.) Turn off your android phone. After that, you need to turn it on again by using a button combination which will let you access the "Recovery Mode". For the list of the combination, please do try these:
Hard Reset Android Phone Combi 1 - Volume Up + Camera button.
Hard Reset Android Phone Combi 2 - Volume Down + Power button.
Hard Reset Android Phone Combi 3 - Volume Up + Power button.
Hard Reset Android Phone Combi 4 - Volume Up + Home + Power button.
Hard Reset Android Phone Combi 5 - Volume Down + Volume Up + Power button.
Hard Reset Android Phone Combi 6 - Home + Camera button.
Hard Reset Android Phone Combi 7 - Home + Power button
I am certain that at least one of these combinations will work on your android phone. I know it is a bit annoying to go through these tons of combinations but please do try each of them because android phones have their own button combinations to access the recovery mode which will then be used to do a hard reset.
3.) After finding the best button combination for your android phone, it will then show the "Recovery Mode". Access it and then look onto the options.
4.) Choose "Wipe Data / Factory Reset" buy using the volume buttons to scroll up and down and by using the home, camera or power button to confirm. After that, another option with no and yes will be shown. Choose "yes".
5.) Wait for the android phone to reboot. After that, it is fixed and you have successfully done the hard reset process for you android phone.
