גם אני רוצה!!!

היי לכולם! קודם כל, נפלא לראות פורום ערני ואינטליגנטי כמו זה... ח"ח!! אני חייל משוחרר בן 21, שמחפש לברוח לכמה חודשים מהטירוף וגם לעשות קצת כסף בדרך... לצערי אין לי אזרחות אמריקאית\קנדית\אוזבקית וכו´... סתם ישראלי רגיל... ככה שאשרת עבודה היא סיפור די מסובך... שאלתי היא: האם ישנה אפשרות כלשהיא למצוא עבודה סבירה בחו"ל בלי להסתבך עם ה- FBI,INS ואני לא יודע מי... פשוט לפי כמות סיפורי האימה שאני שומע מאז ספטמבר ארה"ב נשמעת כמו מינימום עירק ביחס לזרים... אם למישהו יש נסיון בזה, אשמח מאוד לקבל כמה טיפים וגם את האמת הכואבת (אם היא באמת כזאת) תודה מראש...

Coming to America!!!

Hello Ben21 and all of you out there, Unfortunately the situation in the US is not looking good for temporary visitors. Yesterday, April 9, 2002 the INS published new rules that they plan to implement in the next few weeks. Mainly reducing the amount of time that one can spend on a tourist visa(in the past you could stay for 6 months, now they can limit you to 30 days). Also you can´t change from a tourist to a student status unless you get the approval from INS. In the past you could start school even if your change of status case was pending with INS. My suggestion to you will be to try and be leagl in the US . You can go to school here either university or vocational course(like computers for ex.) and stay here on a student visa. Many schools allow you to work on campus and obtain social security number. Otherwise, if you plan to come as a tourist and work, the chances are that you will get in trouble. אם מה שאתה מחפש זה לעשות קצת כסף ולחסוך, באופן חוקי, אז לימודים זה לא אופציה בשבילך, כי המקסימום שמותר לך לעבוד עם ויזת סטודנט זה 20 שעות בשבוע וגם זה רק בתוך הקמפוס. ככה שהרבה כסף אי אפשר לעשות מזה. אם אתה רוצה ללמוד ויש לך כסף לממן את עצמך, אז כדאי לך. אפרת
