New day, new week, back to work - well at least for some of us 
25 new items added today to the "One Of A Kind" list - mostly on the avant-garde side of Jazz on two excellent labels: Knitting Factory and ESP - and some fusion stuff. Some of you watch the site like hawks, as by what I can see several of the items added today are gone already... Well - keep diggin` ====================== I will be moving the site to a new, faster server; Not that the response of the site is slow, but in order to keep up with the latest technical developments. Hopefully all this will be as seamless and smooth as it can be, so keep your fingers crossed! If you experience any technical difficulties while browsing the site starting on Tuesday, please bear with me - it is for the common good. I hope you are all enjoying your last day of Easter and having a wonderful / quality time. ====================== It is Russia Day on the Jazzis site - I added 25 new items to the "One Of A Kind" list, all of them Russian releases, mostly Jazz (some on the avant-garde side) and a few Folk & Classical items - a true feast for the more adventurous listeners. Those of you who are not familliar with Russian (or Soviet) Jazz, let me tell you that they did create some outstanding music there, often wonderfully innovative, experimental and far-reaching. Listening to this stuff can be a real eye / ear openner! Not to mention that this stuff is impossible to find ====================== I know I am repeating myself, but I`d like to remind you again that if you want something from the "One Of A Kind" list, be decisive and make your order ASAP. Yesterday some people were really "fighting" over the new additions minutes after I posted them and many did not manage to get what they wanted as someone else swiped it away under their nose - well I did tell you there is only 1 single copy of each. ====================== Have Fun! (I hope ). ====================== Yesterday`s Russian stuff was a raging success - in a matter of minutes since they were added all the titles were sold out. You definitely know your music Today is Scandinavian Day - I added 20 titles from Finland / Norway / Sweden and Denmark, mostly Prog and some Jazz. All very interesting of course. In addition I also added 10 titles on the excellent Doublemoon label from Turkey - it has some of the most eclectic and fascinating music ever, mostly Jazz oriented, but of course so much different from what we are used to. Superb stuff! ====================== The Isildur Bane`s album "The Voyage", which was out of print for several months, is finally back in stock! ====================== Have Fun! I moved the Jazzis web site to the new server yesterday. Considering the size and the complexity of the site it all worked out remarkably well. There was some down-time for customers around the world untill the DNS update propagation was complete, but that was all done during the night. If any of you had trouble connecting yesterday, I appologize, but this move was absolutely essential. ====================== This will be the last of the daily updates - from now on I'll change the frequency back to once / twice a week, according to needs and developments. I suppose some of you are relieved ====================== 20 new titles were added today to the "One Of A Kind" list - some really demanding / experimental music on the very exclusive group of German labels: Extreme / Al Sogno / Klang Bilder. In addition some really cool World Music titles were also added. ====================== Here is a summary of the sale items as of this moment: 1. Sale items: there are 125 sale items still there. In fact most of them are really "One Of A Kind" by now, as they are 1 copy in stock, but somehow they refuse to move? Strange that nobody wants to buy such great albums like the Pizzarelli, Belmondo, Lopertti a.m.o. - go figure 2. One Of A Kind items: there are 402 items there. This means that over half of those items sold out almost immediately, but now the other half need to go before I add any new ones.
