The insider can exclusively reveal that the Walton-born actor has been dating stunning Corrs singer Andrea Corr since last October. The couple's on-screen romance turned to off-screen love last summer while filming The Great Ceili War in Northern Ireland. Tellingly, Shaun, who played gay character JP in Channel 4's teachers, said in August: "I hadn't met Andrea before we started filming and we get on really well." "The film is about a ceili competition set in 1970, between a band from County Clare and one from Liverpool. I play a member of the Liverpool band and Andrea, obviously, from the Irish band. "Our characters fall in love. So there's romance, comedy and music." Our source confirms: "They've been trying to keep it quiet, but they are dating. I think it's fair to say they are both really happy." Their romance explains why the couple have been seen out and about in Liverpool together recently - first at Baby Blue after the Grand National and then at the Newz bar last weekend where the famous couple couldn't even get in. Andrea's favourite bar in Ireland is called "Cafe Ensain" in Dublin. So when visiting Shaun recently, he decided to take her to the trendy Newz bar which is said to resemble Cafe Ensain. The couple were hugely disappointed to find a huge queue of some 200 guests waiting to gain entry but decided to try their luck and headed for the front door anyway. No-one recognised the petite pop star and her cheeky-looking boyfriend so they waited patiently in line. They grew tired of waiting and hopped back in their car, with the intention of returning later. Unfortunately, the queue was even longer when they returned at midnight, and they were forced to seek entertainment elsewhere. We believe Andrea has asked a pal to get her a membership card for the bar - which leads us to suspect she is thinking of staying on in Liverpool for a while. Sean really must have left the beautiful singer Breathless!
