אסתר, האם תוכלי להסביר...?

עד כמה שאני יודעת, גם תמ"ל מותאים לגיל התינוק... אם ככה, מדוע הנוסחה לא מתאימה לחלב אם? ומדוע ד"ר ליבוביץ כן נתנה בעבר את הנוסחה הזו לחישוב כמות חלב שאוב? אשמח ללמוד

First of all you cannot compare artificial

milk with breast milk. It is like comparing apples and bricks. We are learning all the time about this amazing and dynamic liquid, and one of the things which we learned in a conference last year is that the largest amount of milk that a breastfed baby gets is 120-150 cc, after about age one month. What changes is the amount of fat and calories, not the volume. with artificial milk, it is financially beneficial that the baby gets more and more as he grows. The artificial milk companies cannot get the milk to change with the baby, even though they claim that they do, becuase every baby grows and develops differently. Dr Leibovitch, like all lactation consultants, learns new things all the time. this is why we have to recertify every 5 years, and retake the exam every 10 years in order to stay updated.​

אולי תוכלי לענות לי על שאלה נוספת...? אני רוצה לדעת על התופעה של רקמת שד בבית השחי. (שאלה שעלתה כאן לא מזמן, ושנתקלתי בה היום דרך חברה שוב...) אני יודעת שבתקופת ההנקה הראשונית חלב נוצר בתגובה להורמונים המופרשים בגוף ועם הזמן נוצר בעיקר כתגובה לריקון השד ע"י התינוק. נשים שיש להן רקמת שד בבית השחי סובלות מכאב באזור עקב היווצרות חלב וצריכות לטפל בו כמו בגודש. עד כמה שלמדתי (מקריאה) אין צינוריות המובילות מרקמת השד בבית השחי אל הפיטמה, כך שבעצם אין דרך להקל על הגודש באזור באמצעות סחיטה. האם חוץ מקומפרסים קרים, עלי כרוב באזור הכואב ותרופות לשיכוך כאבים האם יש טעם גם בעיסוי? הרבה תודה

and you come up with many hits. It is funny to read some of them, and to see the lack of information, as usual. an article from the Mayo clinic cites cessation of breastfeeding as a treatment.........how stupid!!​
